256 years old man (Li Ching-Yuen) secret
The Chinese man Li Ching-Yuen was born in 1677 but while he claimed to have been born in 1736 and died in 1928.
Li Ching-Yuen was a herbalist and lived most of his life in mountains.
He started his career at the age of 10 as a herbalist.For nearly 40 years he survived on a diet of herbs and rice wine.He married 23 times and he has probably more than 200 children.
According to a 1930 New York Times article says
Wu Chung-Chieh, a professor of the Chengdu University, discovered Imperial Chinese government records from 1827 congratulating Li Ching-Yuen on his 150th birthday.Further documents later congratulating him on his 200th birthday in 1877.
His secret to long life:
His principles of life is “Keep a quiet heart, sleep like a dog, sit like a tortoise, walk sprightly as a pigeon”.
